Description
****** PRICE is $150 ***** **** This is a used golf club bag that was made for major league baseball star Bill Buckner, an outfielder-first baseman for the Dodgers, Red Sox, Cubs, Angels and Royals from 1969-1990. Buckner died in May 2019 at age 69 in Boise, Idaho. He may have been still using this bag when he was the celebrity guest at the Volunteers of America's Legends golf tournament in Sedalia, Colorado in August 2018. The bag measures 34 inches from top to bottom and is 11 inches to 15 inches on the sides. It was made by the famed Arizona-based PING golf company and has BILL BUCKNER embroidered in white thread on the lower front pocket. The PING logo is sewn on three of the four sides and is on raised black letters on the bottom. All of the bag's zippers still work fine. There is some wear on the name embroidery from use and travel and part of the plastic on the back handle grip is partially torn. This item was obtained from Buckner's family after his death. Great item for any fan of Buckner who had a .289 lifetime batting average with 174 home runs, 498 doubles and 1,208 RBIs. He's one of the few players to have 200-hit seasons in both the American and National leagues. M ONEY BACK GUARANTEE IF NOT SATISFIED. Buyer pays $40 USPS priority mail postage anywhere in the USA only due to the length and weight of the bag. Postage to Canada and elsewhere goes through the eBay Global Shipping program. NOTE: PAYMENT DUE WITHIN 48 HOURS OF AUCTION'S END. ********
